- Clay is widely used. It can be used as a soap, shampoo, face and body mask, and fine-grained peeling.
It has about 20 different minerals important for the body, such as silicon, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, and others, as well as a whole range of microelements and trace elements: selenium, molybdenum, zinc.
Montmorillonite is finely ground, it contains more precious elements than other green clays, such as magnesium, silicon, mineral oxides, potassium, dolomite, manganese, phosphorus, copper, selenium.
Properties of green clay:
1. It has regenerating and cleansing properties.
2. Permanently improves the condition of the skin: firms tighten the pores, improves blood circulation and tones.
3. In combination with water, green clay is the best mask for oily, combination, blemish-prone, dirty, gray, and dull skin.
4. Clay works by absorbing impurities - it is not aggressive to the skin, hair, or mucosa.
1. Face and body masks
Mix the desired amount of clay with a little water until mush. The pulp must be quite thick. Then apply it to the skin and leave it on the face for 10-15 minutes, on the body for about 20 minutes.
You can put a damp handkerchief on the face mask to prevent it from drying out too quickly.
Instead of water, you can use herbal tea to make a mask.
You can add cucumber juice, honey, lemon juice, or a little apple cider vinegar to the mask.
Such a mask is especially beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin. After the treatment, apply a natural oil to your face and apply one of the natural butter to your body.
For mature and dry skin, it is beneficial to mix green clay with a few drops of natural oil.
Anti-cellulite treatment: mix 3-4 teaspoons of clay with water and apply to thighs, buttocks, abdomen, wrap with foil, and then with a towel. Leave the mask on the body for approx. 40 minutes.
After such treatment, we recommend massaging the algae oil.
Pour half a cup of clay into the tub of warm water. Immerse the body in the bath for about 20 minutes. After that, do not wipe the skin with a towel, just gently wrap yourself with it and put it under the duvet.
3. Washing the hair
Mix the clay with water until it is pasty. Apply the paste to the hair and scalp and massage it well for a few minutes. Then rinse your hair with water.
These types of treatments prevent greasy hair.
4. Warm compresses
Apply the paste to the affected area (joints, muscles, throat, forehead, ear, etc.), then wrap it with a warm, wet towel.
Placing a hot water bottle on the wrap increases the effect of the compress. Use this compress twice a day for about 30 minutes.
For sore throats, tonsillitis or angina, dissolve a teaspoon of clay in a glass of warm water or sage tea.
When preparing masks and mineral drinks with green clay, it is very important not to use any metal objects (spoons, cups)!
After the treatment with green clay, apply jojoba oil to the skin of the face, recommended especially for oily skin. Apply one of our natural butter to the body.
